DOT FMCSA offers a self-compliant application for recording driver duty status in alignment with the following regulations:

• 60-hour/7-days or 70-hour/8-days Rules
• 34-hour week restart with the latest suspension of two periods between 1-5 am
• 11 hours of driving permitted per day
• 14 hours on duty allowed per day
• Sleeper Berth provision
• Passenger Seat provision
• Personal Conveyance provision
• 30 minutes break provision
• Location recording for vehicle’s engine turning on and off, as well as location recording every 60 minutes if the vehicle is in motion
• Mobile device functionality permits duty status changes only when the vehicle is at rest
• The mobile device alerts the driver visually and/or audibly of any malfunctions
• If the vehicle is stationary for 5 minutes or more, the mobile device will automatically switch to on-duty not driving, requiring the driver to input the correct status
